Bagel with Smoked Salmon, Beets, and Red Onions

Ingredients for two servings
-2 bagels
-100 g smoked salmon
-100 g cooked beetroot
-1/2 red onion
-iceberg lettuce, leaves
-1/4 lemon
-60 g sour cream
-6 g horseradish
-1 tsp dijon mustard
-2 tbsp apple vinegar
-1 tsp sugar
-2 tbsp olive oil


  • Peel red onions, cut into thin, half-ringed slices.
  • Cut cooked beetroot into thin strips or grate coarsely.
  • For the marinade: mix olive oil, vinegar, and sugar.
  • Mix onions and red beets with marinade and set aside.
  • Wash and drain lettuce.
  • Mix sour cream with horseradish and Dijon mustard. Season to taste with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Slice bagel in half and spread with horseradish cream. Add lettuce, salmon, marinated red beet and onions.
